This two-compartment building, which is situated along the E fringe of the drystone-walled fields of Rhilochan, measures 22m from NNE to SSW by 3.6m transversely within coursed-rubble footings 0.7m in thickness and 0.6m in height. The building is depicted as roofed on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, 1907, sheet xcvi). Fragments of an enclosure which is depicted on the 1st edition map lie in the angle of a field some 70m to the SW.
