NC70NW 138 7382 0600
This C-shaped burnt mound is situated on the side of a knoll, beside a boggy sump, and measures 10m from N to S by 7.5m transversely and 0.8m in height. The hollow, which opens out on the E, is reed-filled, and animal scrapes in the sides of the mound reveal black soil, charcoal and cracked stone.
