Two bee boles have been built into the stone-faced S side of an earth-and-stone field bank to the SE of Grumby farmstead. The two adjacent recesses measure up to 0.6m in height by 0.65m in breadth and 0.4m in depth, and are covered by stone lintels. The field bank is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcvi)
