The remains of a wasted rectangular building, measuring 9.8m from E to W by 4.2m transversely overall, are situated on a terrace to the WNW of Grumby. The E and N walls are overlain by an earth-and-stone bank (see NC70NW 133.02), and a turf-banked enclosure, which may have abutted the N side of the building, lies to the N of the field bank.
