This subrectangular hut is situated on a rounded knoll on the leading edge of a terrace to the SW of the River Brora. It measures 2.8m from NE to SW by 1.4m transversely within a grass-grown stony bank (spread to 0.9m in thickness and 0.3m in height), which is visible on all sides except the NW. The ground to the SE is covered by faint traces of ridging.
