This oval burnt mound is situated beside a small watercourse on the SW side of the valley of the River Brora. The main mound comprises two conjoined mounds measuring 8.5m from N to S by 4m transversely and 0.4m in height. Some 4m to the E a subsidiary mound measures 2.8m in diameter and 0.4m in height. Lifting a sod revealed black soil, charcoal and friable cracked stone.
