This D-shaped burnt mound is situated on the N side of a low spur, immediately to the S of a boggy sump. It measures 8.9m from E to W by 6.1m transversely and 0.6m in height. On the S side of the mound there is an exposure of cracked stone and black soil.
To the NE of the burnt mound there are two small cairns (NC 7432 0728, 7435 0730), measuring up to 3m in diameter and 0.3m in height.
