Full Description

NC70NW 74 7280 0587

There are four small cairns, measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.4m in height, situated in a narrow strip of unimproved grassland between the public road and the enclosed fields. Further cairns may be obscured by the gorse which is colonising the area. A curved earth-and-stone bank, depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1970), lies to the N and W of the small cairns, and appears to pre-date the drystone crofting boundaries.
