A burnt mound is situated on the SE flank of Cnoc na h-Airigh-sleibh in the semi-improved ground to the N of a fence and lies against the base of a knoll. It is C-shaped, measuring 9.6m from NNE-SSW by 6.4m transversely and 0.7m in height, and opens out towards boggy ground on the ESE. The NNE arm of the mound is larger than the SSW, and there is a low bank of burnt mound material across the mouth of the hollow. Lifting a sod revealed cracked stones set in a matrix of black soil.
