Full Description
Lying on the hillside to the west of Loch a'Chairn Duibh there is an area of green partially bracken-clad grassland set amongst the more prevalent heather-rich moorland. Within this area there are at least three oval shieling-huts which were recorded by J Wordsworth during a pre-afforestation survey. The shieling-huts range in size from 3m by 2m up to 2.5m by 4m defined by either stone or stone and turf wall footings. <1>
