Full Description
Centred at NH 808 241 are two circular stone walled huts (A and B) and an ill-defined contemporary field system.
Hut 'A' measures 10.0m in diameter between the centres of a wall spread to c.3.0m and has a simple entrance in the ESE.
'B' is ill-defined by a faint rickle of stones with two or three larger boulders showing. It measures c.10.0m between wall centres. The wall is obscured entirely by peat in the NW. The entrance is not evident.
The field system, obscured by peat, is marked by stone clearance heaps and occasional lynchets and is overlaid by strip cultivation in the S and SW. An amorphous, probably subrectangular structure about 40.0m SW of hut 'A' may be contemporary with this later cultivation.
Surveyed at 1/10,000
Visited by OS (A A) 27 September 1972.
