A crofting township, comprising thirty-five roofed buildings, of which one is a school and one a church, and three unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1882, sheet lvii). Twenty-three roofed, two partially and six unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).
