A crofting township comprising thirty-six roofed buildings, which include a school and a Baptist Chapel, one partially roofed building and eight unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xlvi). Thirty-six roofed, which include a church, one partially roofed building and five unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1986).
