A crofting township comprising sixty-five roofed, five partially roofed and seven unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1882, sheet xli). Sixty-two roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as a school, two partially roofed buildings, and ten unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1986).
