A crofting township, comprising sixty-one roofed, two partially roofed and six unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1882, sheet lvii). Forty-eight roofed, seven partially roofed and twenty-two unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 maps (1966 and 1968).
