Full Description
A hut circle at Cnoc Na Sgaile. See MHG64486 for the probably associated field system.
At NH 3834 3219, on a plateau separated from NH 33 SE 12 by a wet gully, is an oval stone-walled hut measuring about 13.0m NW - SE by about 9.5m between the centres of a wall spread to about 3.5m all round. The entrance, in the SE, is ill-defined.
On the plateau and on the slopes to the W of the hut are a number of stone clearance heaps, probably from contemporary cultivation plots. Surveyed at 1/10 000.
