An unroofed building lying approximately 10m to the W of the unroofed building which is annotated St Mary of Iona's Chapel (NM68NE 1.00) is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet cxxi). A modern roofed building is shown at this location on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
