A farmstead, comprising one roofed building, two partially roofed buildings, two unroofed buildings, one unroofed structure of two compartments, and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet c). Two roofed buildings and one enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).

A planning application (BS-03-170) to build over the site of a ruined stone cotttage required the provision of a photographic record. A series of photographs was taken of the unroofed remains of this structure and the general area prior to the start of the development. The Photographs were taken by Karen Massey and are held in CD library and in Assoc. Docs. file.
