One roofed building annotated 'school', one enclosure and a small unroofed structure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1873, sheet clxii). The site was submerged when the level of Loch Treig was raised as part of a hydro-electric scheme for the Fort William Aluminium Smelter
