Two farmsteads, comprising two roofed, three unroofed buildings and two enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1873, sheet clxii). Both farmsteads were submerged when the level of Loch Treig was raised as part of a hydro-electric scheme for the Fort William Aluminium Smelter
