A township, comprising six roofed buildings, one of which is L-shaped with a horsegang attached, one unroofed long building of at least three compartments, two unroofed buildings, one unroofed structure and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Elginshire 1874, sheet xxix). Seven roofed buildings, one of which has a horsegang attached, one unroofed building and three enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1976).
