A township comprising a group of six roofed buildings and an enclosure, and, approximately 200m to the S, another group of three unroofed buildings and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872-4, sheet xlviB). A head-dyke is also shown. Two roofed buildings located in the N area are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).
