A township comprising one unroofed, eight roofed buildings, a lime kiln and an incomplete enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1874, sheet lx). Two unroofed buildings and what may be the remains of another three are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).
