Full Description
Centred at NH 401 311 is an area of stone clearance heaps in which no cultivation plots can be distinguished. Modern cultivation encroaches on the S and E sides. The area is separated from boggy ground to the N by a ruined wall, which extends through a settlement and field system to the W (NH 33 SE 1), where clearance heaps lying against it, and field walls joining it, proclaim it to be contemporary. It seems likely, therefore, that this clearance is an outlying cultivation area associated with NH 33 SE 1.
