In boggy moorland to the W of Loch Garvie there are about 2ha of lazy-beds on a gentle NE-facing hillside. This area is depicted (albeit with a different shape) and annotated 'Grass' on May's 1758 survey of the Barony of Coigach (SRO, RHP 85395).
