Gr corrected to above from 1st ed OS (ie N of river). Irregular rectangular enclosure. Roofless E-W building on S side. N-S roofless building & D enclosure to W to W of this. SW-NE roofed building N of this mound. Named Bruachmary.
NB natural knoll to E of this (in woodland) could be defensive site - check - Haw 4/2003

A farmstead comprising one roofed and two unroofed buildings with attached enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-6, sheet vii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
