A farmstead comprising one unroofed, three roofed buildings and an enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xlii). Three unroofed buildings and an enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1988).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 25 June 1996
It has been reported that a former Sermon House lies in the vicinity. Although the exact location is not known, it is thought to have ben situated at a short distance up the hill. Information supplied by Mr Chisholm - originating from the 'Aldourie Papers'.
