A farmstead comprising four roofed buildings, three of which are arranged around a courtyard, three unroofed buildings, an unroofed structure which is labelled as an old lime kiln and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-4-6, sheet vi). One roofed building and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).
