Full Description

Low grassy mound in front of a stone built structure with remains of one pulley type target. The Drill Hall has interior doors tall enough for the men to go through shouldering their rifles. F Ross pers comm.

The target of a firing range stands about 400m to the NW of Achlochan House. It consists of a wall 2.4m high and 0.55m thick protected on its NE side by a bank 3m thick. Behind the wall there is a concrete pit 0.55m wide, within which are the remains of a pulley for raising targets.
