Full Description

NC00NW 40.01 0031 0963

On open grass- and heather-covered ground about 350m SW of the modern bungalow at Blair, and on the edge of a terrace above steep seaward-facing slopes, there is a subrectangular building measuring 9.5m NNW-SSE by 3.3m within faced-rubble walls 0.6m thick and up to 0.4m high, with an entrance in the ENE side. It is divided into two compartments, and a drain in the lower (SSE) compartment runs out the end wall. A small enclosure or yard is attached to the SSE end of the building, containing a mound apparently composed of midden material.
