NC00NW 2.02 0303 0877, 0301 0878 and 0304 0884
There are two burnt mounds on the banks of the Allt Bad a' Chotair, and a third lies in boggy ground a short distance to the N of the stream.
The E burnt mound (ACHIL94 380, NC 0303 0877) is situated on the S bank of the stream and comprises two parallel banks measuring 8.2m by 6m overall and 1.2m in height.
The W mound (ACHIL94 381, NC 0301 0878) lies about 20m to the NW, on the N bank of the stream. It is U-shaped on plan and measures 9.8m by 6.2m overall and 1m in height, with the mouth of the mound opening southwards on to the stream.
The third mound (ACHIL94 379, NC 0304 0884) is U-shaped on plan, measures 10.2m by 8.5m and 0.6m in height, and the mouth of the mound opens on the W.
