The former township of Bunkegivie, Corriegarth.

Those of the buildings, recorded by aerial reconnaissance in 1994, that are depicted on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet liv) are recorded as roofed. All such buildings are recorded as unroofed on the current OS 1:10000 map (1976).

The township is shown as a collection of buildings surrounded by cultivated fields on the Roy Military Survey maps labelled 'Boncheguvie'. <1>

The remains of the buildings, enclosures and other features are visible on vertical aerial photographs, primarily concentrated to the northwest of the current Corriegarth Lodge but other more scattered buildings are visible further to the northeast and no doubt include a square enlosure at NGR 251230 817575. <2> <3>
