A large crofting township, comprising ninety-six roofed, three partially roofed and twenty-two unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1878, sheet iii). Fifty-one roofed buildings, one partially roofed building and forty-six unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1966).
