A crofting township comprising one roofed, one partially roofed and sixteen unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, and their associated enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1880, sheet vi). Nineteen roofed, two partially roofed and five unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
