A township, comprising seven roofed buildings one of which is a school, three partially roofed, five unroofed buildings and nine enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch maps (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1878, sheet iv). Siux roofed, four partially roofed, six unroofed buildings, seven enclosures and some field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1966).
