A crofting township comprising one roofed and thirty-three unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). To the N is a pre-crofting township (NG 415 639) comprising nine unroofed buildings, four enclosures and a head-dyke.
Nineteen roofed, five partially roofed and twenty-eight unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and field walls and parts of a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
