An unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). In almost the same location on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968) is shown what may be a farmstead comprising a small unroofed building with an attached enclosure and two lengths of field wall.
