A crofting township comprising thirty-eight roofed buildings, four partially roofed buildings, two of which are L-shaped, and thirteen unroofed buildings, one of which is T-shaped, and their associated enclosures and field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xvii). Twenty-six roofed, one partially roofed and forty unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures and field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
