Full Description

An irregular oval-shaped enclosure, constructed with drystone walls and measuring about 300m from ENE to WSW by 100m transversely, is situated between two outcrops of rock. The interior contains lazy-beds.
May's Survey of 1758 (SRO, RHP 85395) depicts an area of arable to the N of a burn at this location. The enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Cromartyshire 1881, sheet iB).
