A township comprising ten roofed buildings, which include a Free Church, a Post Office and a Meeting House, six unroofed buildings, four enclosures and some field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet xix). Three roofed buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
