A township comprising thirty-five roofed buildings, one of which is a school, two partially roofed buildings, three unroofed buildings, five enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xl). Twenty-seven roofed, nine unroofed buildings, some enclosures, field walls and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
