Full Description
An oval building, with an up-turned boat for a roof, is levelled into the NNW bank of the Alltan a'Choin just above the high water mark. It measures 6.4m from NE to SW by 2.4m transversely within faced-rubble walls 0.8m in thickness and 0.8m in height. The entrance is on the SE. The decaying remains of a boat, which had formed the roof of the building, have slipped off to the SE. To the WSW of the building there are two boat nausts, the larger of which measures 8m by 4m. The smaller naust may have been for summer use.
