Full Description

The remains of a hut circle, about 10 m in diameter, with an entrance in the SE, lie on the N bank of Morven Burn, about 120 m NE of an old sheepfold. Three or four large stones run across its diameter.

At NC 9991 2716, on a SW-facing slope in open moorland, is a heather-covered hut circle obscured by the accretion of peat. It meausres 7m in diameter within a wall spread to approximately 2m; the inner wall-face is exposed in the N arc, and a crude, later shelter has been erected in the N sector. The entrance is in S.
There is no trace of associated cultivation in vicinity of hut circle.
Surveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (N K B) 26 October 1982
