Full Description

The shieling of Rea Chonachat is depicted on RHP 2502, dated 1766.
Two huts are visible today:
(a) on the lip of a terrace at NH 9984 1007 is an L-shaped building, 6 x 8.8m.
(b) at the end of a ridge at NH 9983 1008 is another hut, 8.5m N/S x 3m NE/SW.
Both were uncovered during tree felling in 1992.
