Full Description

A pirn mill, sluices (site of) and mill lade, using the Auchgourish Burn, as a source of water. There is a possible building on an island formed by the burn and the lade. A dyke runs around part of the south edge of bog to south-east of site, possibly indicating a higher water level when mills working.
See sketch in Ass. Docs.
