Full Description
At the junction of the River Spey and the River Feshie are levees apparently built by Napoleonic Prisoners of War (information from Iain Glen, Dalnavert). They appear on the second edition map of 1903. The Feshie has now breached these dykes.

The dyke is shown in on a different alignment on all the 19th. / early 20th.c. maps - see GIS.
