Full Description

A township noted on RHP 2503, dated c. 1770, as Lag of Clune. Four buildings arranged in a straight line, with a kailyard just to the south of a track leading up the hill to the east, are visible on the ground as low turf footings. Local tradition (information from Roddy Shaw, retired farm manager, Pityoulish estate) suggests that this is a leper colony.
