A crofting township comprising 57 roofed and 7 unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and a length of head-dyke is depicted on 1st edition OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet xii). Twenty-five roofed and twenty-one unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and a length of head-dyke are shown on current edition OS 1:10560 map (1969).
