What may be a farmstead comprising a single unroofed building standing within an area of improved ground is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, sheet ix). An unroofed building of two compartments is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1967).
