A farmstead comprising an unroofed building and large enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet lxxxvi). The site of the farmstead has been submerged by the rise in the water level of the loch due to the hydro-electric scheme and is therefore not shown on the current edition of the 1:10000 map (1971).
